“I hate the cover of Tangled on the DVDs. I don’t think I portrays the story well or the character’s personalities.”
I agree with this submission, its like there TRYING to make it look like all these charcthers are gonna kick your ass and it kinda persuades people to watch it or else they will have to mess with Blondie,Eugene,Maximus and Pascal LOL. And when it ACTUALLY comes to the film Rapunzel is portrayed as this sulky childish teenager who falls in love with an egotistical asshole who’s really a nice guy at heart. Overall though I do hail this as my all time favourite movie ever hands down. But its a pity they didn’t use this one:
It seems more nicer.
I like the other poster better, but I disagree that the cover portrays the story and the characters in the wrong way.
Besides, don’t you know that the cover was designed directly after a drawing by Glen Keane? If anyone knows the characters, it’s him.

This particular piece is actually used in several Tangled storybooks and other Tangled media.
Also, notice the slight differences between the version above (click the image for super-large copy), and this version (from Living Lines Library).

I’m fascinated by the idea that, at one point, Rapunzel and Flynn were going to take a gondola ride through a canal in the village. But maybe that’s just because I want to see more of Corona.
There was a grandmother who originally ran this pub when it was new. She planted a cute tree that has now grown and grown…. Now it is pushing over the pub and has become incorporated into it. –DOUG ROGERS, DESIGNER
Rogers says there’s a shrine to the grandmother in the Duckling that no one will ever see.
